Welcoming our new apprentices to the team!

Eleven new apprentices are starting this training cycle at stoba: two aspiring industrial business clerks, two warehouse logistics specialists, two machining mechanics, two industrial mechanics, and three machine and plant operators.

They are thus continuing a long tradition:  We at stoba have been successfully providing training for around 40 years. During this time, more than 350 young people have already started their professional careers with us.

During the orientation days with training manager Markus Gebhardt, the trainees explored a wide variety of topics. They got to know the trainers and management and familiarized themselves with stoba’s company history during the introductory seminar. In addition, they met with the works council and the youth representatives and learned everything they needed to know about training goals, methods, and workplace safety. Now that they’ve settled into the workshop and taken a tour of stoba’s product range, things can really get started.

“Every year, we look forward to getting to know new personalities with fresh perspectives,” says Markus Gebhardt, training manager at stoba.

And for anyone still looking for the right apprenticeship, there will soon be an opportunity to take a look behind the scenes: On October 8, the Backnang Trade and Industry Association’s apprenticeship tour will stop by our facility again. Teens in 8th grade and up are welcome to stop by, get to know the company, and ask questions.

We wish our new apprentices a great start and look forward to our time together!
