Into the future with stoba - starting signal for the application phase for apprenticeships in 2025

Backnang, September 2024: The application period for 16 vacant apprenticeships at stoba Precision Technology has started in September 2025. From now on, students can submit their applications by e-mail. The Backnang-based company has already received over 50 awards from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce and has trained more than 300 young people since 1986.

Backnang, June 28, 2023. Sponsors, patrons and celebrities cycle for a good cause – Tour Ginkgo and stoba have been taking part for 10 years. From 29 June to 1 July, 130 cyclists will cycle around 270 kilometers for a good cause.

Memmingen, 6 June 2023. stoba Customized Machinery will be represented at the LaserWorld of Photonics trade fair in Munich from 27 to 30 June 2023. Visitors will have the opportunity to talk to the stoba laser experts on site about new developments, fields of application and possible solutions for laser material processing.

Memmingen, 30 January 2023. After a successful trade fair year in 2022, stoba Customized Machinery will once again be represented at numerous trade fairs in 2023, presenting the latest innovations in the field of laser and (P-) ECM to visitors. A total of four trade fairs are already being planned – including three trade fairs and one career fair. Memmingen, 30 August 2022. stoba Customized Machinery will be presenting the latest developments in ECM and laser machining for industry at AMB, the international exhibition for metalworking in Stuttgart, from 13 to 17 September 2022 at stand 91 in hall 7. The focus of the trade fair appearance will be the Alpha Basic automated ECM processing machine.

Huber Automotive AG takes over e-drive division from stoba e-Systems

Backnang, July 5, 2022 – Huber Automotive AG is taking over the E-Drive division of stoba e-Systems as of July 1, 2022. In return, the stoba Group will receive a block of shares in Huber Automotive AG. This lays the foundation for a long-term partnership and cooperation between the two companies. The semiconductor division will remain part of stoba e-Systems GmbH, which will therefore continue to be part of the stoba Group in the future.

Honored at the German SME Summit: Ranga Yogeshwar congratulates stoba Group on making it into the TOP 100

Backnang, June 27, 2022 – Ranga Yogeshwar honored the stoba Group from Backnang on the occasion of its success in the TOP 100 innovation competition. The award ceremony took place on Friday evening, June 24, in Frankfurt am Main as part of the Summit for all SMEs that were awarded the TOP 100 seal at the beginning of the year. The science journalist accompanied the innovation competition, which was held for the 29th time, as a mentor. In the scientific selection process, the stoba Group was particularly convincing in size category C (more than 200 employees) in the categories “innovation success” and “innovation climate”. This is the third time that the company has been one of the top innovators.

Überlingen – Ranga Yogeshwar today congratulated the stoba Group from Backnang on its success in the TOP 100 innovation competition with a personal video. The science journalist also honored the achievements of this year’s TOP 100 companies at a joint online conference today, Friday. The occasion was the TOP 100 final, which was originally planned as an in-person event. Ranga Yogeshwar is mentoring the innovation competition, which is being held for the 28th time. New machine concept creates higher quality at lower costs

Intelligent measuring system automatically corrects deviations in laser processing in the µm range and thus avoids rejects

 

Puchheim/Memmingen, 25.06.2021 – SCANLAB GmbH supplies the core component for a new machine concept for laser drilling in the micrometre range from stoba Customized Machinery. The processing machine integrates the precSYS 5-axis micromachining system with a femtosecond laser and optical measurement for automatic correction of drilling results. This enables considerable increases in productivity to be achieved with 24/7 industrial use of the machine.
