What you'll do
- You will develop a concept for an AI-supported scheduling tool for production and resource planning
- The aim is to define a suitable tool that works seamlessly with the ERP system used at the site
- You analyze existing business and scheduling processes and derive optimization potentials
- You define functional and technical requirements for the tool
- You evaluate suitable AI/algorithm approaches (e.g. forecasts, optimization, decision support)
- Optional: prototypical implementation or validation of the concept using sample data
- Close coordination with specialist departments on site (e.g. production, planning, IT)
What you can do
- You are studying computer science, business informatics, industrial engineering, data science or a comparable degree program
- You are interested in AI applications, data analysis or algorithmic optimization
- You have a good understanding of business processes – ideally in a production or logistics environment
- Initial knowledge of programming, data models or AI methods is an advantage
- You have an analytical, structured and solution-oriented mindset
- You work independently, but also have team spirit
What you bring with you
- Motivation to independently drive forward a practically relevant and challenging topic
- Curiosity and a willingness to familiarize yourself with ERP systems and real company processes
- A structured way of working and the ability to present complex issues in an understandable way
- Very good knowledge of German, knowledge of English is an advantage
