Technician for Metallographic Preparation and Analysis of Residual Impurities | Long-term Assistance Position (m/f/d)
What You'll Do
- You prepare metallographic specimens by cutting, embedding, grinding, and polishing them
- You label and record the samples
- You perform analyses of residual impurities in accordance with established procedures
- You work with laboratory equipment and perform basic maintenance on it
- You document measurement results and maintain laboratory records
- You adhere to internal methods and quality guidelines
- You will work closely with your colleagues in the lab and in the technical departments.
What You Bring to the Table
- You work carefully, patiently, and with great attention to detail.
- You work responsibly and approach tasks systematically.
- You can reliably follow established procedures and processes.
- You have basic computer skills, particularly with MS Word and Excel.
- You are willing to learn new laboratory procedures and further your professional development.
- Ideally, you have practical laboratory experience or knowledge of metallography, though this is not a requirement.
