What You'll Do
- You will develop and implement a proof of concept (POC) for the autonomous use of a humanoid robot in industrial applications.
- You will create datasets that the robot uses to learn new skills.
- You will investigate how a humanoid robot can independently recognize, grasp, position, and prepare components for downstream manufacturing processes.
- You will train and fine-tune AI models for controlling a humanoid robot.
- You validate your results using real-world industrial applications, such as in the context of laser or ECM systems.
What You Can Do
- You want to do more than just study new technologies in theory—you want to put them into practice and test them.
- You have an analytical approach and can break down complex technical problems in a focused manner.
- You have some experience in one or more of the following areas: robotics, automation technology, computer vision, artificial intelligence, software development, machine learning, mechatronics, robot control
- You enjoy contributing your own ideas and developing innovative solutions.
What You Bring to the Table
- Currently pursuing a master’s degree in mechanical engineering, automation technology, robotics, mechatronics, computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Ideally, some prior experience with robotics frameworks, image processing, or software development.
- Ability to work independently and a passion for interdisciplinary collaboration.
- You are passionate about robotics, autonomous systems, and industrial automation.
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills.
