Group Controlling & Holding Accounting Specialist (m/f/d)
What you'll do
Accounting, Financial Statements & Cash Flow (Focus: Holding Company Responsibilities)
- Independent Holding Company Accounting: Comprehensive operational management of the day-to-day business of the holding company’s subsidiary in SAP.
- Operational Accounting Activities: Performing all routine tasks related to general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable (such as ongoing account reconciliation and maintenance, bank posting, and intercompany reconciliation for the holding company).
- Financial Statement Preparation: Responsibility for the timely preparation and compilation of the holding company’s monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB).
- Liquidity management: Independently preparing, monitoring, and refining the cash flow statement and liquidity management for the holding company.
- Audit liaison: Serve as the central point of contact for auditors and tax advisors regarding the holding company.
- Support for Group Companies: As needed and depending on capacity, providing operational support and technical assistance to the accounting teams of other assigned group companies.
Group Controlling & Consolidation (Focus: Group Level)
- Group Reporting: Support in preparing monthly management reports and consolidating the worldwide subsidiaries.
- Planning & Forecasting: Participation in the group-wide budgeting process and the preparation of rolling forecasts.
- Group-Wide Intercompany Reconciliation: Assisting with group-wide, international intercompany reconciliation and resolving discrepancies between global subsidiaries.
- Process Optimization: Further development of controlling tools and harmonization of reporting processes within the Group.
- Interface Management: Close collaboration and coordination with international subsidiaries, financial accounting, auditors, and internal functional departments.

What you bring with you
- You have a degree in business administration (with a focus on finance/controlling) or have completed a commercial apprenticeship (e.g., industrial clerk) with relevant continuing education (e.g., to become a certified accountant or controller).
- You have several years of solid professional experience in finance and accounting, ideally in a combination of bookkeeping and international controlling.
- You have a good knowledge of accounting law under the German Commercial Code (HGB) and an understanding of corporate group structures and consolidation principles.
- You have very strong practical skills in MS Excel.
- You are fluent in both spoken and written German and English.
- Nice to have—ideally, you already have experience with LucaNet (or a comparable consolidation tool) or are highly motivated to quickly familiarize yourself with it.
