Moving Together: stoba at STADTRADELN 2026

Four stoba teamsloggeda total of6,844kilometers this year during STADTRADELN—that’s the distance from Munich to Cape Town and then some!

Over the course of three weeks, employees at all German stoba locations made a conscious effort to bike as much as possible—and together achieved a result that’s nothing to sneeze at. 

Every year, cyclists from all over Germany hop on their bikes for STADTRADELN to cover as many kilometers as possible. The nationwide total represents not only physical activity but also a more conscious approach to mobility. Every trip made by bike replaces a car trip and helps reduce CO₂ emissions and ease traffic congestion—resulting in a savings of 958 kilograms of CO₂ compared to driving. 

For many participants, STADTRADELN also offered a good opportunity to reevaluate their daily routines: Some began biking to work more often, while others discovered new routes—habits that may well continue beyond the campaign period.
