A one-week student internship offers you the opportunity to get a taste of your preferred career field and get a first-hand impression of everyday life at stoba. This allows you to gain a personal impression of the working conditions, the diverse areas of responsibility and the various career opportunities. After all, personal experience is irreplaceable!
We at stoba look forward to every application and will be happy to take time for you! A good secondary school leaving certificate is enough to qualify for an apprenticeship. We offer 17 apprenticeships every year. Whether you are a boy or a girl – at stoba we value the individual strengths and talents of every single person!
The training allowance is based on the collective agreements for the respective training occupations.
During your training at stoba, of course, no one is left alone. Our trainers will be at your side as permanent contacts and will support you with all the tasks you face. Older trainee colleagues will also support you in word and deed and will be happy to give you helpful tips at any time. In this way, you will benefit not least from the great internal team spirit at stoba!
Your individual interests are clearly our priority. As a certified training company, we at stoba have already proven the quality of our training in the past. During your apprenticeship, you will spend a full six-week period in each department. There, you will be taught the respective learning content step by step and in a practical manner by a training officer. This gives you the opportunity to immerse yourself in each department. This way, you will know for sure at the end which department is right for you.
But of course – after all, industry is one of the most diverse and important sectors of the economy! In addition to manual skills and dexterity, technical understanding and spatial imagination are also required at stoba. Here you will get to know both manual and computer-aided machine systems. CNC machining and pneumatics will be just as familiar to you as turning and milling. So you will definitely be offered an exciting and varied working environment!
Training at stoba is completely project-oriented. During their apprenticeship, everyone has the opportunity to take responsibility for a project. This includes planning, material procurement, production, quality control and cost calculation through to the finished end product. The task may be to manufacture a chess set or a model car, for example. This gives you the opportunity to work independently during your apprenticeship!
Thanks to a constantly growing market, stoba is internationally oriented. You can qualify for an internship at one of stoba’s locations abroad by demonstrating outstanding performance during your training. You can choose from our sister plants in China, England and the Czech Republic. The costs and organization of the trip are fully covered by stoba, so that you can fully immerse yourself in the impressions of a foreign country!
